Chetna Ipar is an accomplished Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance Professional, Consultant, Auditor and International Trainer with over 13 years of experience across the food, beverage, nutraceutical and specialized nutrition industries. Her expertise spans Food Safety Management Systems, regulatory compliance, GFSI certification standards, auditing, quality assurance, product development and professional food safety training.

Her previous leadership and consulting experience includes Hexagon Nutrition, Ernst & Young (EY), Nestlé India and Nestlé France, covering corporate quality assurance, regulatory affairs, R&D, factory compliance, international regulations and specialized nutrition products including RUTF, RUSF, LNS, micronutrient premixes, nutraceuticals and health supplements.

She holds a Master’s in Food Technology (Food Innovation and Management) from Wageningen University, The Netherlands, and a B.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai.

She is a BRCGS Approved Training Partner, FSPCA PCQI Lead Instructor – Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF), FSPCA FSVP Lead Instructor, FSPCA IAVA Lead Instructor, and International HACCP Alliance Lead Instructor / Advanced HACCP Trainer. She also holds expertise in FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, BRCGS Food Safety, USFDA FSMA, FSSAI, Food Fraud, Food Defence, HACCP, HARPC, allergen management, root cause analysis, validation and verification, and internal and supplier auditing.

As Partner and Independent Consultant and Trainer at Smart Food Consulting Services (SFCS), she provides food safety training, audits, regulatory and quality assurance consulting, gap assessments and certification-readiness support to food businesses in India and internationally. She has conducted second- and third-party audits and supported organizations working against requirements of GFSI-recognized schemes, USFDA, FSSAI, UNICEF, WHO and the World Food Programme.
