Jorge Noguez

Jorge Noguez is a Food Engineer with a Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership and Business Intelligence, complemented by specialised postgraduate training in food safety, quality management and packaging technologies. With more than 15 years of industry experience, he has worked across product development, manufacturing, quality management, food safety, auditing, technical review and professional training within the food and packaging sectors.

Since joining SGS in 2016, Jorge has served as a Food Technical Auditor, Technical Reviewer, Certification Decision Maker and Instructor, supporting organisations in achieving and maintaining compliance with internationally recognised standards and certification programmes.

A BRCGS Approved Training Partner (ATP) since 2019, Jorge is approved to deliver official BRCGS Food Safety, Packaging Materials, Storage and Distribution, and Gluten-Free training courses.

What makes Jorge's training unique is that delegates learn from an instructor who remains actively involved in certification auditing. While many trainers teach standards from a theoretical perspective, Jorge continues to conduct certification audits on a regular basis, bringing current industry practices, auditor expectations and real-world examples directly into the classroom.

Having conducted hundreds of audits across Mexico, the United States and Latin America, he helps delegates understand not only what the standards require, but also how compliance is evaluated during certification audits. His goal is simple: to transform complex standard requirements into practical knowledge that participants can immediately apply within their organisations.
