Meet Abdallah

About you

Firstly, thank you for reading my success story. I am a technical consultant specialising in the fields of food safety, quality, and occupational health and safety management systems.

I graduated from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Beni-Mellal, Morocco, where I obtained my Master’s degree in Science and Technology, specialising in Quality Management in the Food Industry.

I started my career in the fishing industry and then moved on to one of the largest fruit and vegetable freezing industries, working with products including strawberries, raspberries, apricots, and figs.

For the past four years, I have been working as a consultant, trainer, and auditor, providing support, training, and auditing services in the agricultural and agri-food sectors. I am also a second-party auditor for YUM! Brands standards, covering FSA, QSA, PFA, warehousing, and transportation.

I offer consulting, auditing, and training services to the primary production, food processing, and food packaging industries.

In general, I am passionate about learning and training. This is why I have obtained my CQI and IRCA certification in ISO 9001:2015, Lead Auditor certification in ISO 22000:2018, PCQI approval from the FDA, and validation of GMP courses provided by the Institute for Food Safety at Cornell University, as well as completing all the mandatory courses required to obtain the BRCGS Professional badge.

Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?

I joined the BRCGS Professional Programme because, firstly, it is a great opportunity to improve my existing knowledge and acquire new knowledge. Secondly, it allows me to stay up to date with the tools and methods used to meet the requirements of the BRCGS Standards.

Thirdly, it enables me to offer high-quality services to my partners and support them on their journey towards certification. Considering all these elements, gaining international recognition is a real opportunity for me.
