Meet Damla

About you

I have worked in the food sector across production, quality, and training departments. Over time, I specialized in quality management systems and served as a lead auditor for ISO 9001, 22000, 14001, and Halal standards. Additionally, I provided consultancy services on other quality management systems and social compliance standards, particularly those approved by GFSI. I successfully completed my BRCGS Lead Auditor training and have organized lead audits and technical training sessions in various areas as an instructor.

Currently, I own and operate FEDS QUALITY Consultancy Training Audit services, where I work as a consultant, auditor, and trainer alongside my growing team. My goal is to deliver the highest quality service to companies seeking expertise in the BRCGS field, ensuring they receive safe, reliable, and efficient service. I am passionate about my work, my profession, and food safety management system standards, and I constantly strive to improve my skills and success in the industry.

Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?

As a lead auditor, consultant, and trainer for various standards, I wanted to further enhance the consultancy and training services we provide at FEDS QUALITY in relation to BRCGS. My aim is to deliver higher quality and more reliable services by improving my expertise in this field.

What value do you personally feel the BRCGS Professional certification brings to you?

The certification has significantly strengthened my knowledge of food safety and quality management systems. Through this program, I’ve received invaluable training, including lead auditor courses delivered by expert instructors. This has helped me become a well-rounded BRCGS leader while allowing me to connect and share knowledge with industry colleagues.

How has the training helped improve operations at your site/company?

I’ve worked with the BRCGS standard throughout my professional life, and it has always been a key focus of my career. By increasing my expertise through the program, I’ve been able to offer more professional and effective consultancy, auditing, and training services. This has directly contributed to improving the quality of service we provide to our clients.

What are your career goals/objectives?

My current career goals are to maximize the performance of FEDS QUALITY Consultancy, Training, and Audit services by ensuring the effective implementation of systems across the sector. I also aim to train and mentor new individuals in the standards, grow our team, and build new collaborations within the industry. By continuing to enhance my skills and those of my team, I strive to play a key role as a BRCGS Professional, driving the adoption of globally recognized standards and advancing BRCGS and other GFSI applications within the sector.
