Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?
I joined the BRCGS Professional program to understand the details of our application of the BRCGS Global Standards.
What value do you personally feel the BRCGS Professional certification brings to you?
The training provided by the competent instructors contributed to the improvement of our systems. Being one of Turkey's first two BRCGS Professionals makes me proud.
How has/will the recognition programme impacted your work?
It supported the development of a systematic approach through the studies. I can use this information for sites that want to obtain and maintain BRCGS certification.
How did you get to your current role?
I have worked in the food industry for 24 years in production, quality, auditing and training departments. I am an ISO 22000, ISO 9001 lead auditor. At the same time, I am also a BRCGS Food, BRCGS Packaging, BRCGS Consumer Products, FSSC 22000 and Social Responsibility auditor, taking an active role not only in food but also in packaging and consumer products supplier audits.
In addition to the above systems, I installed Sedex, Organic, Halal and Kosher systems, ensured their sustainability and passed audits.
What is your educational background?
Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Food Engineering, Ankara University.
What are your career ambitions/aims?
To be one of the professionals developing the industry by increasing the implementation of BRCGS and other GFSI approved standards. To contribute to the development and improvement of systems.
