About you

With a strong academic background in Food Technology (B.Tech, M.Tech) and seven years in Quality Assurance, I have been deeply involved in BRCGS compliance for the past five years. My expertise includes BRCGS documentation, leading third-party audits, conducting vendor visits, testing lab installations, and setting up food plants to meet global safety standards. In addition, I have successfully managed FSSC, Organic, Kosher, and Halal certifications, ensuring seamless regulatory compliance. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Food Technology, I am committed to advancing food safety, optimising quality systems, and driving excellence in the industry.

Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?

The training has enhanced our site’s operations by improving our understanding and implementation of BRCGS standards, ensuring better compliance and consistency. It has streamlined audit processes, improved risk management, and strengthened our food safety protocols, ultimately leading to more efficient operations and reduced non-conformities.

What did you most enjoy about the training?

I most enjoyed the practical application of BRCGS standards during the training. It allowed me to connect theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, helping me better understand how to implement food safety protocols and manage audits effectively. How do you plan to keep your skills up to date?

I’ll stay updated by attending BRCGS events, workshops, and reviewing industry standards regularly. Continuous learning and applying new knowledge will help keep my skills sharp.

What are your career ambitions/aims?

I aim to advance into senior leadership roles in food safety and quality management, focusing on compliance and continuous improvement. My goal is to lead and innovate in creating robust food safety systems.
