I signed up for BRCGS Professional as it looked like a good opportunity for an industry-recognised qualification and entrance to a good established food safety network.
How has/will the recognition programme impacted your work?
I’m aiming for a Technical Manager role in a few years, and BRCGS Professional will further enhance my skillset and CV.
How did you get to your current role?
After a 48-week industrial placement with The Crucial Sauce Company, I passed with distinction and worked three days a week during the final year of university as a Quality Manager. In October 2015, after graduation, I moved to the British Pepper & Spice Co Ltd to work on key retail accounts, and I’m now a Retail Technologist and HACCP team leader.
