About you
I am a QHSE professional with over 12 years of experience across the packaging, food, and pharmaceutical industries in Bahrain and Pakistan.
I currently work as Manager QMS at Manama Packaging Industry W.L.L., where I focus on product safety, quality management systems, and compliance with standards such as BRCGS Packaging, ISO, HACCP, GMP, FSC Chain of Custody, and Halal. Over the past five years, I have consistently achieved AA grades in BRCGS audits, including an AA+ in an unannounced audit.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management and am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies to further develop my knowledge of sustainability and sustainable packaging.
Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?
I joined the BRCGS Professional Programme to strengthen my knowledge, stay up to date with BRCGS best practices, and support better product safety and brand protection.
The programme provides an excellent opportunity to continue developing my expertise while helping to improve customer confidence and support the delivery of high standards across the organisations I work with.

The BRCGS Professional certification validates my experience, enhances my professional credibility, and connects me with a global network of product safety professionals.
It has strengthened my confidence in applying best practices and adds value to both my role and the organisations I support through my work.
How has the training helped improve operations at your site/company?
The training has helped strengthen our product safety culture and improved the way we apply management systems in practice, leading to more consistent and effective implementation across the organisation.
It has also reinforced the importance of continual improvement and supported our efforts to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
What did you most enjoy about the training?
I particularly enjoyed the practical approach of the training, the interactive sessions, and the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other professionals.
The training was highly relevant and provided valuable insights that can be applied directly to real workplace situations.
What are you most looking forward to within the Professional community?
I am looking forward to networking with other professionals, learning from their experiences, and benefiting from resources such as microlearning modules to support my continued professional development.
How do you plan to keep your skills up to date?
I plan to keep my skills up to date by following BRCGS updates, using the Educate platform, and actively participating in webinars and e-learning opportunities through the Professional Programme.
I also believe in continuous practical learning and applying new knowledge to support ongoing improvement within my organisation.
What are your career ambitions/aims?
My ambition is to become a recognised leader in product safety, particularly within the packaging materials sector.
I aim to drive practical improvements, promote sustainable practices, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance while contributing to the continued development of the industry.
