About you
My current role is with Forsan Foods & Consumer Products Co. Ltd. as Manager – Quality Assurance & Food Safety. From bustling factory floors to high-stakes boardrooms, I’ve carved out a legacy of operational excellence across manufacturing, QSR, retail, and food processing. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and XLRI Jamshedpur, I hold an Executive MBA degree from IIM Lucknow, an M.Sc. in Applied Microbiology, and an advanced certification in Strategic Management and Innovation from XLRI Jamshedpur, India.
My professional certifications include BRCGS Professional, ISO 22000 & ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH International General Certificate, Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO 17025, and FSPCA PCQI, among others.
Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?
I joined the BRCGS Professional Programme to strengthen my expertise in global food safety standards and gain structured, internationally recognized training that aligns with my long-term goal of driving brand protection, product safety, and regulatory excellence.
What value do you personally feel the BRCGS Professional certification brings to you?
The BRCGS Professional certification has brought significant value to me on multiple levels. In short, the certification has empowered me to perform with greater confidence, competence, and global perspective.
How has the training helped improve operations at your site/company?
The BRCGS training has had a direct and measurable impact on operations. It enabled us to strengthen our Product Safety Management System by embedding best practices into day-to-day operations, elevating both internal compliance and food safety culture across departments.
What did you most enjoy about the training?
Overall, it wasn’t just a training, it was a professional development experience that left me better equipped, more confident, and motivated to drive meaningful change at my organization.
What are you most looking forward to within the Professional community?
I'm excited to connect with a global network of food safety professionals, gain exposure to new ideas and best practices, and take advantage of exclusive learning tools like microlearning. These opportunities will help me stay ahead in the industry and continue driving product safety and brand excellence.
How do you plan to keep your skills up to date?
To keep my skills up to date within the BRCGS Professional Programme, I plan to adopt a structured and proactive approach to continuous learning and development. This includes ongoing BRCGS trainings across different modules, staying current with standard updates, participation in the BRCGS Professional Community, e-learning and webinars, third-party certifications and complementary learning, as well as on-the-job application and internal training.
By committing to these strategies, I aim to uphold the integrity of the BRCGS Professional title while contributing significantly to our site’s audit readiness, operational performance, and food safety excellence.
What are your career ambitions/aims?
My career ambition is to become a leading technical authority in the field of food safety and quality management, leveraging the BRCGS Professional Programme as a foundation for continuous growth. I aim to lead a high-performing technical and QA/QC team, with a strong focus on compliance, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement aligned with BRCGS and other global standards. Ultimately, I want to be recognized not just as a compliance expert, but as a technical leader who builds strong systems, empowers teams, and drives innovation in food safety and quality assurance.
