With 17 years of experience in quality and food safety management, I've dedicated my career to ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. My background includes serving as a Quality and Food Safety Management Systems Manager at a prominent dried fruit exporter firm. Today, I've transitioned into a multifaceted role as a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Consultant, Trainer, and Freelance International Lead Auditor, specializing in ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and BRCGS standards. I'm also on my way to becoming a BRCGS Professional, which underscores my commitment to staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
Why did you join the BRCGS Professional Programme?
My passion lies in helping businesses achieve and maintain the highest quality and safety standards in their products and operations.
What value do you personally feel the BRCGS Professional certification brings to you?
The certification makes my clients feel the privilege of working with a consultant of high standards.
How has the training helped improve operations at your site/company?
The training has led to to improved product safety, better audit rating, more credibility to outside customers. Also, my customers, who are working with a real professional, realize the level of awareness about food safety and what a difference it made in the industry.
What did you most enjoy about the training?
The process I enjoyed most during the training was the the trainer, interactive tasks and the most important thing is the homework given to test that I understood it correctly.
What are you most looking forward to within the professional community?
I would love to have exclusive benefits such as Network events, exposure to other like-minded Professionals, exclusive perks such as Micro learning.
How do you plan to keep your skills up to date?
I would like to enrolling on more training, mentoring, attending conferences and events, E-Learning and webinars.
What are your career ambitions/aims?
To lead my own team of technical professionals, to implement the Professional programme in other areas of my company, to open my own business, to be recognised as an industry leader and at the end to helping businesses achieve and maintain the highest quality and safety standards.
