What value do you personally feel the BRCGS Professional certification brings to you?
It has changed my perspective in my evaluation of processes. It has enabled me to communicate with my colleagues working with food safety, to see the missing points in my work and to increase my self-confidence in this regard.
How has/will the recognition programme impacted your work?
It will enable me to carry out processes with food safety effectively.
Would you have completed the component courses anyway?
I intend to continue training to both reinforce what I have learned over the years and see my shortcomings.
How did you get to your current role?
I started working in the production department in 2008. After learning the production processes, my support to the quality department enabled me to better learn about food safety, production and quality processes. My work experience, which I supported with the trainings I received, brought success afterward.
What is your educational background?
Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Food Engineering, Ege University.
What are your career ambitions/aims?
I would like to continue my career as an auditor, consultant, in order to share what I have learned and to get to know different food productions.
