Following the launch of the new issue six months ago, audits against the BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety commenced on 01 February 2023.

Last week, we were delighted to see the first company to complete their Issue 9 audit was uploaded to the BRCGS Directory. New to BRCGS certification, Novo Farina, based in Norwich, UK, achieved an AA grade in their first ever Food Safety audit by UK Food Certification after a year of preparation and implementation.

Commercial Director Emily Williams comments “This is an immensely proud milestone for our team and investors. As a young business, this certification showcases our commitment to providing the very best in British food manufacturing and progression in our field of plant-based ingredients and texturised vegetable protein extrusion. It demonstrates a leading standard and quality assurances to our existing and future customers.
