Best Practice Guideline: Traceability

A traceability system should be established at all stages of manufacture, processing and distribution, to identify where the raw materials have come from and to which customers the finished product has been supplied. The guideline is relevant to all sites which require traceability systems and covers requirements in most BRCGS standards. The guideline will be of use to all facilities where product changes from one form to another or are waypoints in the supply chain.
