We are pleased to confirm that BRCGS has applied to GFSI for Benchmarking against BMR2024 for the following standards:
- BRCGS Food Safety Issue 9
- BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7
- BRCGS Storage & Distribution Issue 4
- BRCGS Agents & Brokers Issue 3
To align these standards with the 2024 benchmarking requirements, some revisions and amendments were required. As a result, the following position statements have been updated:
- F926 Food Safety
- P708 Packaging Materials *NEW DOCUMENT
- SD404 Storage & Distribution
- AB310 Agents & Brokers
These changes are effective for all audits conducted from 10 August 2026, allowing for an 11-week transition period. Certificated sites should familiarise themselves with these changes, which will be assessed against the updated requirements.
