JIA Petcare has marked the opening of its Jiangsu Suchong manufacturing plant and the launch of its Group Quality Day by announcing its strategic commitment to the BRCGS Global Standard for Food Safety.

The event, held on 5 March at the Xinyi Economic Development Zone, gathered corporate executives, industry experts, supply chain partners, the heads of e-commerce platforms such as Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, and REDnote to discuss the future of quality assurance in the pet food sector. The move to adopt BRCGS standards represents a significant step for JIA Petcare in strengthening end-to-end quality control and reinforcing food safety protocols, while enhancing brand competitiveness by benchmarking against international best practices.

Ray Jin, BRCGS Regional Head for North Asia, was invited to deliver a session titled: “From high quality to good reputation: how to create pet food that gives owners peace of mind.” Focusing on how to build long-term consumer trust, Ray provided an insightful interpretation of the evolving industry landscape.

During the session, Ray addressed core industry challenges and noted that to transition from a "single trial" to "long-term deep trust," organisations must have robust systems in place to strengthen consumer and market trust.

BRCGS extends its congratulations to JIA Petcare for successfully achieving BRCGS certification and beginning this new chapter of quality enhancement.
