Angela’s skills and qualifications in food safety have been gained through 30 years international industry experience as a senior food safety and quality professional.

Angela is a qualified BRCGS Auditor and registered BRCGS Consultant for Food Safety, Storage & Distribution and Agents & Brokers, a qualified BRCGS Professional, an elected Fellow of the Institute of Food Science & Technology and an IFST Registered Food Safety Manager and IFST Professional Food Auditor and Mentor. She has Advanced Diplomas in Food Safety and HACCP and holds a City & Guilds Award in Education & Training. She is a registered Highfield Qualifications tutor and a FSPCA trained Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).

She has held Group and National level food safety and quality leadership roles internationally across a range of high risk and ambient food categories in large national and international organisations: Dairy Crest and 2 Sisters Food Group in the UK; Golden State Foods, Ingham’s, George Weston Foods and Allied Mills in Australia.

Angela has supported over 70 sites achieve and maintain BRCGS certification in her career. She simplifies complex FSQMS systems at mature sites, supports sites to re-gain certification quickly if it is suspended or withdrawn and conducts assessment to reduce risk and improve food safety.

Angela provides calm support in crisis and recall situations, conducts complaint investigations, allergen, foreign matter, supplier and site security audits, and microbiological contamination investigations. She can help develop and implement HACCP studies; supplier management systems; internal audit, allergen, environmental monitoring, TACCP and VACCP risk assessments, and food safety culture reviews and action plans.

Angela works with multi-site organisations as well as SMEs to ensure their businesses meet regulatory requirements, reduce operational and reputational risk and reduce costs.
