David has worked in the food industry for 26 years in Technical and QA Management roles in manufacturing, food service and retail, and as a food safety consultant since 2007. He has worked for companies including New Covent Garden Soup Company, Bakkavor, BHS and Morrisons. His product experience includes chilled ready to eat foods, fresh produce, raw and cooked meat, bakery, ice cream and food storage and distribution activities.
David is a qualified Food Technologist, Chartered Scientist and Fellow of the IFST and RSPH, and holds postgraduate qualifications in HACCP.
His experience includes supplier auditing for NSF International, and providing support for companies seeking BRCGS certification against the food safety and storage and distribution standards.
