Michael has over 28 years of experience within the food industry.  He is the managing director of Quality Point, a consulting business located in Belgium at the very heart of Europe. The company specializes in CB assessments against accreditation schemes such as ISO17020, 17024, 17021 and 17065.  He was active as an integrity auditor with BRCGS for more than 10 years.  As a skilled professional in food safety management systems, he is well acquainted with GFSI benchmarked schemes such as BRCGS, IFS and FSSC22000 in food, logistics and broker environments. Throughout the years, he has assisted many companies to tackle food safety challenges and help them achieve their food safety objectives including certification.  Since 2016, he also acts as the managing director of the Belgian meat industry association FEBEV and participates in different boards overseeing the production chain.  He additionally is part of several working groups within the Belgian food safety agency.
