Erveene’s professional career has always been with the food industry, having worked in various areas such as food manufacturing and supermarket retail operations as part of the Quality Assurance Team and eventually the Food Safety Team, helping these organizations establish and maintain their food safety management system. He eventually pursued a career in doing training and audits for various management system standards, mostly involving food safety, quality and environmental management systems. 

He is a graduate of BS Food Technology from the University of the Philippines Los Baños and currently works as the Training and Academy Manager of Control Union Philippines, Inc., providing various knowledge management services and capacity building covering food safety, quality and environment, to name a few.
