Sampath works as an Independent Food Safety Professional. He previously worked as a Food safety program coordinator for Asia region in reputed certification body. During the past twelve years he has been conducting training programs on food safety, food hygiene principles, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO9001, Quality Management Systems and customized training services related to food safety management systems.

Sampath is reading for his PhD in food safety related topic and, has a MSc in Food Science and Technology and over 17 years of work experience in beverage, dairy and ambient stable products including canned food products as a quality professional for the leading manufacturers. He also has more than 12 years of rich experience of leading auditing, training and certification activities of global certification body.
