Soumik has a Master of Fisheries Sciences and gained over six years experience in the Sea food processing industry, where, as Quality Manager, he was involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of several Food Safety Management System. At present he is Certification Manager- Food Certification Services in SGS India Pvt Ltd, responsible for Certification Decision process for the Dutch HACCP, ISO 22000, Codex HACCP and GMP. He is an approved tutor for BRC Food and BRC S & D standards. Training has always been his first choice since his involvement with Seafood Industry, dating back to 1998. Soumik has conducted several Public training programs for food safety and hygiene, BRC Food TPA and BRC Food Implementation. He is involved in the development of customized training service related to Food Safety management and provides training for BRC Food especially for the factory staff and management.
