Sreedath is a seasoned food safety and quality professional with over 20 years’ cross‑sector experience spanning food manufacturing, packaging materials, retail, R&D, quality assurance, and consultancy. He holds a master’s degree in food science and brings a deep practical and technical understanding of food safety systems and standards.

In his role as National Product Manager - Food Training Services at SGS India, Sreedath leads development and delivery of comprehensive training and certification programs across major food safety schemes, including ISO 9001:2015, Codex, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, SQF, IFS, GlobalG.A.P., ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and multiple BRCGS Global Standards (Food Safety Issue 9; Packaging Issue 7; Storage & Distribution Issue 4; Gluten‑Free Issue 4), in addition to FSMA, FSPCA, and other industry frameworks.

Accreditations and teaching credentials:

1. IRCA‑ and BRCGS‑approved trainer for Awareness, Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor, and customized courses (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025:2017).
2. Certified FSPCA PCQI Lead Instructor for Human Food (v2.0) and Animal Food.
