About the Site Awareness Webinars
BRCGS Ethical Trade and Responsible Sourcing Site awareness webinars have been designed to equip site staff with the understanding of what the Risk Assessment is and how it works, whether you are preparing for it as a bolt-on to your Product Safety Audit, or as a standalone assessment.
Introduction to the Risk Assessment - provides an understanding of the Ethical Trade & Responsible Sourcing Program and how the Risk Assessment fits into it. It is also an opportunity to find out more about why it has been developed, its relevance to you and how it might help your business.
How the Risk Assessment Works – provides information on what you should expect during the auditor’s visit and the resources available in the Technical Information Guidance
nderstanding the Risk Assessment Requirements Part I – provides a detailed explanation about the first two sections of the Risk Assessment requirements, including Senior Management Commitment and Labour Standards
Understanding the Risk Assessment Requirements Part II – following on from the previous module, further detail is provided about the other sections of the Risk Assessment, including Health & Safety at work, respecting Human Rights and Corporate Governance. The module will finish with some useful information about what you might do to get ready for the Risk Assessment.
