Sarah Howarth BSc Hons, CSci, FIFST, FRSPH Sarah is an experienced food safety professional helping companies to protect their brands and grow in a sustainable way.

With 30+ years’ experience in the food industry throughout the supply chain from farm to fork across a broad range of product areas within branded and own-label companies at all stages of business maturity. Brought up on a farm in the West Country an interest in food lead to study Food Technology at Reading University followed by valuable experience with major food companies throughout Northern and former Central European countries.

Sarah has worked for many international companies including Unilever, Yum Brands (Pizza Hut; KFC), Cargill, Cott Corporation, Marks & Spencer. In 2007, she set up as a consultant to support companies with their Food Safety Compliance. The most recent position, before becoming independent was Head of Food Safety, Regulatory Compliance & Quality with Cargill Grains and Oilseeds Europe with responsibility throughout the supply chain across 27 European facilities.

Current clients range from start- up operations to established retail operations.
