Alison has been working within the food industry for over 20 years and has experience as a Quality or Technical Manager in the manufacturing of a diverse range of product technologies from ready meals and cooked meats, to vegetable products and bakery.

Alison started auditing against the BRCGS Standard Food Safety in 2004 and has audited since issue 3, as well as being an approved auditor for the BRCGS Standard for Storage and Distribution since it’s conception. Alison has worked throughout Europe and also South and North America, and has also audited, mentored and trained out other certificated and second party Standards. Working for 3 years as Head of Food Certification within a large certification body provided in-depth knowledge of the protocol of the Standards.

Alison is a current BRCGS Compliance Auditor for both Food and Storage & Distribution Standards, and is an experienced and effective trainer, delivering industry recognised, certificated, retailer specific and client bespoke training courses for a number of years.
