Hi! I’m Diego, a professional who is 100% specialised in food safety. With degrees in Veterinary and in Food Science & Technology with an MSc in Food Safety and Nutrition. Since 2005 I have been advising and training industries in food safety and since 2012, carrying GFSI certification audits. I am also qualified in BRCGS Food, IFS Food, IFS Logistics, IFS Broker, GMP + and ISO 22000.
I have had the privilege to work/audit several food sectors providing me with a holistic view of the supply chain; primary production (pig farms, aquaculture, feed production, fruit and vegetable farms), human food industries (produce pack-house, juices, canned vegetables, spices, dairy, bakery, ready to eat, confectionery, fish products), related services (transport, storage and broker) and water treatment plants.
In regards to training expertise, I deliver it in different modes (face to face, virtual and asynchronous) and delegate profiles (quality managers, production managers, operators, university students…). I love sharing my knowledge and doing it in a dynamic and fun way, without forgetting the technical data and that the goal is to help you in becoming a better professional in food safety and quality.
